yyin. a bilingual English-Chinese art publication, captures and explores the enigmatic narratives of yyin, and brings together the creative talents of the LGBTQ+ community and its advocates to develop experimental graphic artworks that express society’s gender diversity and provide a global platform for such stories to be heard.

Originating from Taiwan, the first Asian country to legalize same-sex marriage, our team is inspired by traditional Eastern yin-yang philosophy. Founder, Yagi Wang, titled the publication yyin. reflecting upon the intrinsic and dynamic relationship yin shares with our emotions. By embracing the yin attributes inherent in us all, we can find balance and harmony across the gender spectrum.
