Remarkable South Africans is a celebration of South Africa and the inspiring individuals who have committed their lives to her upliftment.

Authored by Line Hadsbjerg, its contemporary design and courageous photography by Pep Bonet beautifully display inspiring stories of remarkable individuals whose contribution to South Africa and to its people leads us to the inspirational and the aspirational. Based on interviews and journeys across South Africa during 2009, Remarkable South Africans will inspire, provoke and call on all individuals to be change makers in society. I

ndividuals portrayed in the book reflect all people of South Africa and the interviews range across the spectrum of arts, music, media and politics, from poor to rich, black to white, politicians to grassroots activists, celebrities to the "forgotten" members of society. All of those interviewed have dedicated their lives to their community and have made an inspiring and sustainable impact on South Africa.
