EU - European Shipments
Since Brexit we have learnt a lot about sending consignments to Europe. It has not got any easier but both ourselves and many of our customers have learnt how to work with these disrupting circumstances.
We are having to use many different courier services for different weights of consignments and for different countries in the European Union and those in the Single Market but not in the EU.
This has increased what we have to charge some of our customers for carriage. This has meant our customers have to pay for customs clearance and duties. As it takes everyone more bureaucratic time to process this can lead to delays. Sadly a process in which the British Electorate where promised less “red tape “if we exited the European Union has so far lead to much more “red tape”.
If you are customer of ours in the EU please understand that you will find that customs (or the parcel courier) may get in touch with you and ask for payment to clear what you have ordered.
