“High time” was my first response to seeing a copy of “Women in a Globalizing World: Transforming Equality, Development, Diversity and Peace.” Here was the book I have been waiting for; the book that I could give to the students of my stu- dents; to those women who thought feminism was passe and had served its purpose; to those who thought that there were no more Women’s Issues to address. Here I could point to the link between peace and justice in terms that were meaningful for women in a globalizing world. Here were the links between equality, justice, and the rejection of patriarchy that the young women of today need to understand and make their own. All I can say is thank you. It Is Indeed High Time For This Work. —URSULA FRANKLIN, cc, frsc, University Professor Emerita This collection includes the work of some of the most critical feminist leadership.
