He has worked as a poet for more than three decades, performing in schools, libraries and at literature festivals across the world. He is a National Reading Hero award-winner, a National Poetry Day Ambassador, Poet-in-Residence for the National Football Museum and Everton in the Community, and Writer-in-Residence for Let’s Go Sing – whilst the band Slade have proclaimed him their very own Poet Laureate. Award-winning writer, designer, illustrator, and performer Dr Martin Chatterton has been working successfully for over 30 years in a variety of media and design fields in the UK, USA, and Australia. In recent years he has concentrated on screenwriting, animation, and screen production.
