For books that have arrived in a Faulty or Damaged condition please return the cover and title Page only. These returns must be made within 30 days.
For other book returns, authorisation is required. Please send returns requests for authorisation to:

Central Books will grant authorisation on the following basis:
Failure to adhere to our
terms may result in books being credited at a flat 60% discount or returned to
the customer at the customerís expense.
Central Books reserves the right to withhold credit if the above conditions are not observed.
On receiving a return which has NOT been previously authorised, our goods in department will go through each book returned and any damaged stock received will be destroyed. The return will then be processed as normal and credit will be issued on ALL valid titles regardless of their condition.
Any titles which are found to be invalid (not in accordance to our returns policy) will not be credited.
If invalid titles were received in a saleable condition they will be returned to the customer.
However, if a title is found to be invalid and was received damaged it will have been destroyed on receipt and therefore we will be unable to return stock.
The benefits of this new procedure will mean that our customers will NOT be charged for damaged stock being returned to themselves (the current charge issued is £7.50 per box to UK addresses).
